The Legend of The Bear and The Fox - The Fawns

Myth becomes Legend!
Many years ago in the Baltar Mountains, a great famine affected the small towns and villages of the region. The hunger was so great that the villagers began eating each other to survive. Many parents abandoned their children in the woods to their fate. A pair of young twins, Hansel and Gretel, were forsaken in the deep forest by their stepfather. They wandered in the woods for days till they found an old woman living in a shack. She took them in and kept them from succumbing to starvation. The woman had a pink meat on the stove that had an intoxicating taste. Once the children ate of that strange meat, they were transformed into something quite terrible. They both became man-flesh eaters. They soon murdered the old woman and attacked anyone who wandered too deep in the forest.
